Book Plates: Dishing Up Literacy
August 18, 2005
Book Plates is a community event that brings the neighborhood together to celebrate and boost children's literacy! Book Plates is supported by local chambers of commerce, promoted by local merchants, publicized by local newspapers, hosted by local restaurants, and patronized by local families. Who benefits? Local schools.
By simply going out to eat at participating restaurants on Thursday, August 18, you, your family, and your friends can make it possible for deserving kids to own new books.
If you represent a restaurant and are interested in joining this year's participants in Book Plates, please contact Charles at 206.461.0123 or by email.
