Page Ahead works with businesses, school groups, and community organizations to collect new books to be distributed through our programs. We also link groups to specific schools for "adoption." Volunteers provide the books (through book drives or cash contributions) for the at-risk children in a program and then participate in reading events within those programs.
Barnes & Noble Bookfair: July 26th - August 6th, 2014
Do you know any kids who have been running around pretending to be Anna, Elsa or perhaps Olaf the happy snowman?! On Saturday, July 26th starting at 3:00pm, Barnes & Noble in Northgate is giving kids in need the chance to read and meet Barbara Hicks, the author of Frozen: A Sister More Like Me. Stop by their store to have your picture taken as a princess or snowman or both! Bring some friends, wear your princess dress and maybe even win a prize. Along with these festivities the Northgate Barnes and Noble is hosting a bookfair to benefit Page Ahead! Grab a voucher, use the Bookfair ID 11403995 at checkout and Page Ahead will get a portion of the proceeds! Barnes & Noble Holiday Book Drive 2013
Barnes & Noble is giving kids in need the chance to read. Stop by your local B&N and pick out a book to support Page Ahead. The book drive will run from November 1, 2013 to January 1, 2014. To learn more about their program click here.
