Sponsorship Opportunities

Dishing Up Literacy

Page Ahead invites communities throughout Washington State to eat, drink, and be merry to benefit childrens literacy during this day-long event. Participating restaurants donate a portion of their revenues to Page Ahead. Promotional activities include quarter-page ads in several editions of The Seattle Times, listings in neighborhood papers, on-line calendar listings, posters in area stores, and promotional bookmarks.

Book Plates take place in more than 50 moderately-priced and upscale restaurants, involving approximately 5,000 day-of-event participants across Washington. Promotional materials are on view for two weeks prior to the event in participating restaurants and other supporting locations, providing exposure to many thousands more people throughout Washington State.

Sponsorship provides brand exposure in restaurants, stores, and media throughout the state. Company name and logo will appear on all promotional materials, including posters and bookmarks. Companies will be recognized on Page Aheads website and in the quarterly newsletter. Company names will be featured in two Seattle Times quarter-page ads.

A Taste for Reading

Page Aheads annual benefit luncheon is tentatively scheduled for early April 2006, with an expected audience of 250 benefactors. A Taste for Reading is the kickoff event for Page Aheads 10,000 Books for 10,000 Kids campaign. A sponsorship of A Taste for Reading would also offer exposure through the 10,000 Books marketing campaign involving radio PSAs and print ads.

Acknowledgement at A Taste for Reading would afford companies the opportunity to convey their message from the theatre stage to this affluent group. Other sponsorship benefits at this level include:
