Where to park when you're visiting us

Recently the city has began ticketing cars parked in Post Alley. Post Alley parking is limited to truck deliveries for much of the day.

The loading zone is only 30 minute loading from 9am - 4pm and 3 minute loading from 7 - 9am and 4-6pm. If you are coming to the office to pick out used books, please park in the garage across the street from the loading dock. It can be entered off of Western, between Spring Street and Seneca Street, or park at a meter on the street. We do not validate parking.

There are parking meters on Western Ave. They're the new ones that also accept credit cards.

We're Surrounded by One-Way Streets!

Page Ahead is surrounded by one-way streets. The directions below will let you know how to get here without trouble.

Driving north on I-5, i.e., from Tacoma
  1. Take the Madison Street exit.
  2. Turn left at light, heading downtown. Travel eight blocks.
  3. Turn right on Western Ave. Travel two blocks.
  4. Turn right on Seneca Street.
  5. Turn right on Post Avenue.
  6. Park in 30 minute loading zone across from gate, or the next block south.
  7. Walk back out to Spring Street and turn left. Go upstairs (entrance is halfway between Post Alley and First Avenue). Enter the door marked "88". Head down hall and enter Page Ahead on your left side. Check in with receptionist.
Driving south on I-5, i.e., from Everett
  1. Take the Union Street exit. Travel five blocks.
  2. Turn left on 2nd Ave. Travel four blocks.
  3. Turn right on Madison Street. Travel three blocks.
  4. Turn right on Western Ave. Travel two blocks.
  5. Turn right on Seneca Street.
  6. Turn right on Post Avenue.
  7. Park in 30 minute loading zone across from gate, or the next block south.
  8. Walk back out to Spring Street and turn left. Go up stairs (entrance is halfway between Post Alley and First Avenue) and enter the door marked "88". Head down hall and enter Page Ahead on your left side. Check in with receptionist.
To get back to to I-5 South
  1. Take Spring Street and follow the signs
To get back to to I-5 North
  1. Take Spring Street.
  2. Make a left onto 6th Ave.
  3. Turn right onto University Street.
  4. You will see the I-5 North on-ramp.
