Order 'A Day at the Market' to help two charities

Monday is the deadline to preorder a limited edition of a new children's book about the Pike Place Market that will benefit two local charities.

"A Day at the Market" is the 10th book by noted Seattle graphic artist Sara Anderson. Preorders of the $14.95 book will benefit the Pike Place Market Foundation or Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program.

Anderson selected the two groups because she has been a market resident for 25 years and because Page Ahead is dedicated to providing high-quality books to children.
