Page Ahead collaborates with preschools, elementary schools, Head Start programs, migrant centers, homeless shelters, and teen parenting programs across Washington State.
Page Ahead serves children who receive free lunches (71%), receive English-language tutoring (28%), and/or read below grade level (43%), exposing them to books and motivational reading activities.
Children served by ethnicity are: African American (10%), Asian American (8%), White (37%), Hispanic (35%), Native American (3%), Mixed Race (4%), and Other (3%). Eighteen percent are younger than 5 years of age; 78% are from 5 to 12 years of age.
